Yamaha Aerox 155 To be Launched Soon…and TVS Ntorq 150 Might Arrive This Diwali

TVS seems to be all set to bring in a more powerful version of its popular scooter, the Ntorq. While the current Ntorq 125 has made quite a name for itself since its launch in 2018, there’s talk that a 150cc version is in the works—and it could hit showrooms around Diwali 2025.

The Ntorq series has built a reputation for being fun to ride, packed with features, and comfortable for daily use. Now, with plans for a 150cc variant, TVS is clearly aiming to challenge some strong contenders in the segment like the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160.

TVS Ntorq 150 Price, Design and Performance

For that, though, TVS will need to up its game. Most rivals in this category come with a liquid-cooled engine for better performance. Currently, TVS doesn’t have a liquid-cooled engine under 300cc in its lineup. So, it’ll be interesting to see whether the company develops an all-new engine or simply tweaks the existing air-cooled one.

Design-wise, the upcoming Ntorq 150 is expected to stay close to the existing 125cc model. Expect it to come with single-channel ABS, larger 14-inch wheels, and maybe a few new tech features to keep things fresh.

The current Ntorq 125 runs on a 124.8cc, 3-valve, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that puts out around 10.2 horsepower and 10.5 Nm of torque. With the 150cc version, we can definitely expect more power under the seat—ideal for those who want a bit more punch without jumping into the motorcycle segment.

As for pricing, it’s likely that the Ntorq 150 will sit around the ₹1.50 lakh mark (ex-showroom). That would make it an interesting option for buyers looking for a sporty, feature-packed scooter with a bit of extra performance.

So, if you’re planning to buy a new scooter around the festive season, it might be worth holding out and seeing what TVS has in store.
